Steve DavisonSteve Davison received his Bachelor of Industrial Design degree from Auburn University in 1974 and worked as an Industrial and Human Factors Engineer until 1981. Currently, he is the president of Engineering Marketing Associates doing business as Impulse Training Systems in Newnan, Georgia.

Steve founded Engineering Marketing Associates (EMA) in 1981 and in 1983 developed the gravity-free concept of exercise today known as Inertial Exercise.  Presently Inertial Exercise is treating over 1,500,000 patients annually across the globe in the Physiotherapy market. Working closely with professional athletes, coaches and trainers Steve has introduced the technology as a high performance tool to Professional Baseball, Golf, Football, Boxing, Track and Field, and Olympic Swimming.  Past and present clients are world champions in all those mentioned fields.

He has applied Inertial Exercise successfully to geriatric, pediatric, neurological, and sports related populations.  He has demonstrated its ability to quickly maximize and re-train neuromuscular function resulting in higher levels of performance.

Steve is actively involved in clinical research concerning physiotherapy topics as well as developing training programs targeted at athletes seeking their highest levels of performance.  An active member of the American Society of Space and Gravitational Biology since 1989, he has worked with NASA’s life science centers and is currently developing research related to exercise physiology in weightlessness (space travel).  Steve has consulted in medical product design with major medical corporations as well as contributing performance consultations to many professional athletes and athletic organizations.
