It appears that the majority of people who seek out sports performance training have seen the use of bungee cords. It bothers me that everywhere I look I seem to be bombarded with the massive use of these bands & bungee cords. Impulse News
Team Impulse attended National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) national conference at the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, July 10-12.
Tom Myslinski,
Cleveland Browns Strength and Conditioning Coach, came by our booth and said some nice things about us. "At the Cleveland Browns, and especially with our QB's and rehabbing athletes, we utilize Impulse Training to minimize soft tissue injuries and maximize performance. Explosive ballistic movements are characterized by applying maximal force against objects that posses a relatively small resistance (ex/throwing a football). The impulse action of the machine allows sport specific movement patterns to be quickly repeated in a continuous motion. These rapid alternations of muscle tension will increase neuro-muscular coordination thru activation of the appropriate agonists and protect the soft tissue from injury." Thanks Tom.
The Browns have had an Impulse DHP since Feb 07.

 Impulse Tip
To maximize good posture with our STAR philosophy just get your head as high as you can with your feet less than shoulder width. The Marine Corps calls this "standing tall".
