This is a new and improved way of increasing physical performance based on simple physics. It's gravity free and doesn't incorporate elastic or frictional resistance. Its dynamic resistance is pure inertia. The patient is free to learn how to deal exclusively with the resistance of inertia and the acceleration and deceleration components associated with it. This means learning control on the motor programming and neuromuscular level.
The machine is simple in function due to applications of high technology. The patient pulls a rope which accelerates a sled along a horizontal track. At the end of the ROM, the kinetic energy created is reversed and impulsed back to the patient. Thus, the patient learns control of functional acceleration and deceleration with each repetition. The Patient, with each repetition, develops a higher levels of motor skill. The sled and track components are extremely smooth alleviating unwanted friction. And themuscular control timing is in the low milliseconds. No other technology can assist you and your patients in quickly gaining improved motion. Not to mention decreasing edema and pain along with increasing ROM at incredible speed. You'll get results weeks faster that with other PRE programs.
