Confessions from the Longest Driver. 2007
Sean Fister called this August looking to increase his drive distance. A lot of golfers do this periodically throughout the years. What made this call different… Sean “The Beast” Fister is the world record holder for drive distance. Turns out, the Impulse has been his ‘secret weapon and primary training tool since 2000’. He shared with us what he was doing with his Impulse, and wanted to know if he could add anything to his Impulse Training that would improve him even more. Can’t tell you what we told him. It’s just nice to know we’re helping another great athlete achieve his goals and dreams. And it's not his secret any more. Thanks Sean.

Schilling working with Donley developing baseball shoulder program

Continued refinements to the Stabilization Program for the Athlete has produced an advanced program. Collaborating with Phil Donley, a consultant to many major league ball clubs this program is especially productive for the throwing athlete. It has developed into the most powerful throwing athlete performance program ever. Its contribution to reduction or elimination of injuries is quite impressive. Having been adopted by several major league teams it will continue to be modified for even better performance in the future. From Nolan Ryan to Curt Shilling and many other pitchers in between this program is a proven results getter. The program concentrates on aspects of increasing balance and anaerobic endurance while training good body mechanics related to throwing, coupled with the anaerobic endurance it has played a big role in increasing throws per game and drastically reducing or eliminating injury or even the need to ice. The program has been further adapted for swimmers, golfers, track and field, and tennis athletes.

Athletes Succeed after Training at the Baseball Performance Center
It is hard to tell if the Baseball Performance Center in Kennesaw, GA is the realization of a dream or a calling for Rocky Thorn, its founder. Whichever, Thorn is one of those people who is uniquely gifted at what he does. For him it is training baseball players. Thorn trains players at all levels from Little League to professionals with the Atlanta Braves and other major league teams. He has helped many to reach their performance best to be drafted by MLB teams. Thorn, like many others was skeptical about The I until he used one. He then called us back to order several units. He even removed other equipment to make room. Thorn exemplifies our belief that The IMPULSE is just an instrument. It takes the knowledge and skill of a master to apply this instrument in order to create perfection in power performance.

2005, Growth in High Performance
The High Performance arena in 2005 was an exceptional year. With a year end net growth of over 30% in the training and conditioning sector of the health market we are happy to see recognition of Inertial Exercise as a superior technology when developing performance. The Therapy end of our market was still a strong influence representing 40% of our total sales. We are continuing our quest to assist the professional and amateur athlete in becoming the best that they can be. Our re-designed IMPULSE HP, along with its newly structured aerodynamic sled, is built to bring out the best in powerful athletes ever. Our contribution to professional football took many of our users to the super bowl. And, in a recent review of professional baseball teams we realized that we have been used by every team that won a world series since 1991. Our determination in searching for new and better ways to improve athletic performance continues. |
